Seeds and Nutrients
Special fertilizer for Giant Sequoia trees and Coastal Redwood trees in a pot:
If a seedling is placed in a larger pot, it is important that the correct potting soil is used. Our seed grow kits come with a little bag of soil and with our young trees the instructions state which soil is suitable. In addition to the right soil, water and sunlight are of course required. The right nutrients are also important for successful growth. We now offer small bags with these appropriate nutrients within our product range. You simply mix the contents through the potting soil before you plant the seedling in its pot. The bags contain around 40 grams of fertilizer which slowly releases the needed nutrients over the course of around 12 months so that the seedling gets the nutrition it needs. 40 grams is needed per 10 liters of potting soil.
Special fertilizer for Giant Sequoia trees and Coastal Redwood trees that are planted in the open ground:

You scatter these nutrients around the roots when placing it in the ground. These special nutrients are released slowly during around 16 months.
