About Redwoodking seedlings
- All our seedlings are, as the name suggests, grown from seed without the use of pesticides or poison.
- Detailed instructions for repotting and planting outside are included in the delivery. A short version of the instructions can be found on this website under Sowing and Planting Advice.
- Due to the dynamic growth of seedlings, the size of the tree, small or medium, is determined by the volume of the root system. The "small" Giant Sequoia has a root volume of around 50 cm3 and has a length of about 30cm including the roots. The "medium" Giant Sequoia has a root volume of around 180 cm3 and has a length of about 60cm including the roots. The root volume is shown on the image with the “cell / plug” dimensions.
Like other trees, Giant Sequoia trees break down CO2, thereby releasing oxygen (O2) and storing carbon (C) in the wood. Trees also offer protection against strong wind, high temperatures, noise and soil erosion. Landscape value, nature and air quality increase.
A tree grows in value and beauty every year!
